We've decided to call this sweet mare Ivy. She has the kindest eyes ever. Ivy
wasn't broke to ride when we got but she is now! She was unsure of what we
wanted at first but once she figured it out you could almost see the light bulb
come on. She was even a bit disappointed that I put her away rather than go
exploring with her. We will be breeding her to Secretly Regal this year. We have
our fingers crossed for a lovely buckskin baby. I recently did some
calculation to get an idea of how much blood each of our horses carry. Here

1992 APHA Bay Roan Tobiano
Maple is a Texas ranch bred mare we bought in 2006. She has the conformation and heavy
bone of a solid working horse. As an added bonus she has a true natural western lope and
she can jump 4' from a stand still. We were very pleased with both her fillies from Regal
and now look forward to a foal from our Homozygous Tobiano stallion, Designated MVP.
I recently calculated this mare's foundation blood a s well. She is 91.6% foundation blood
according the Foundation Horse Registry rules. We really like this mare and expect great
things in the future.

We purchased Nelly along with her Mother sight unseen just for their pedigrees
basically.We are very pleased with the mares themselves. Poor Nelly seems to
have had a bad run-in with humans somewhere and now has some serious trust
issues we are working on. We are happy to say she is coming around nicely.
Nelly produced a very nice, even if he was solid, Bay Roan colt 09/09/06. Nickle
was well built andjust as sweet as he could be. Nelly foaled a very nice solid bay
roan filly from our Overo stallion, Barefut Ruckus Raider, in May 2008. This should
be a very versatile foal. We have bred Nellie to Designated MVP for a 2010 foal. This
should be a wonderful cross and guaranteed to be a Tobiano or Tovero.
Nellie's foundation percentage I calculated as 95.8% according to the
Foundation Horse Registry rules. No wonder she produces such nice foals.
We would consider selling Nellie to the perfect home ONLY. If she appeals to you

Cinnamon is another home bred mare. She is foundation on the bottom and
racing stock on the top. Cinnamon is very laid back and serves regularly as a
lesson horse for terminally ill/physically challeged and beginner children. Her
2005 APHA foal has started his undersaddle career with a bang earning 6
Blue ribbons in his first show!

We call this mare Slinky since she is built like a block house. She is short and
square with some of the most comfortable gaits around. Her temperament is true
to her breeding. She is laid back and has slow moving strides. This is another
mare we use regularly for our various lesson programs. She can be counted on to
be steady as a rock. We have ridden her extensively on trails. She is not at all
spooky and is sure footed.

Brandy was used on a ranch to move cattle before we got her. Somewhere
along the line she was injured and is now only broodmare sound. She rules
the roost at our Florida barn and makes sure everyone toes HER line.

We're calling this very soft and sweet mare Sophie. Emily has
decided that Sophie is her horse and I think Sophie agrees. Emily is very
oppinionated concerning "HER" Sophie. There is no doubt in her mind that there
is NO horse better than Sophie and nothing is too good for Sophie. Emily also
doesn't share well when it comes to Sophie. It seems she is the only one allowed
to work or ride her. So the question is: How do you convince a little kid that
you're just trying to help?  Jeeze, she sounds like me as a kid.

SAD DAY 4/11/08
We lost our beloved Roo to unknown causes. We will sorely miss this wonderful
mare. She was truly a grand lady. So until we meet on the otherside of this we
bid you a fond and heartfelt farewell.
RIP
Roo was our TB mare but she looked and acted more like a QH. Roo was a home
bred mare and never raced. Working just didn't suit her Diva status. Roo was
shown Hunter/Jumper, Dressage, and even Team Penning. She could be idle in
the pasture for years at time and still ride just like the last time she was ridden.
